Looking for details of the SS18 design for an owner rating
Hi, I don’t have any details of a SS18, this is the S&S 34 Association website.

Hi
We have a 40ft Swarbrick centercockpit yacht “Aquarius” I’m just trying to find who built her, the plans that have come with her state that she was designed by Kim Swarbrick hoping someone can help.
Cathy
Hi Cathy,
We don’t keep records of anything other than S&S34’s. Swarbricks email is glenn@swarbrickyachts.com.
Glen might take some time to answer.
Best regards,
Ron
Hi Cathy (better late than never!) I was the office girl at Swarbrick Bros Yachts from late ‘70s to early ‘80s. I allocated numbers and maintained all boat registers. I remember Merv Finn, Garnett Gourlay, John Quigley and, of course, Jon Sanders sailing through the Falklands during the war. I was there when Swarbricks’ took their Morning Star to compete in the Darwin to Dili race.
I have a newspaper article from The Sunday Times dated July 15, 1979 reporting when the first Chatham 40 came out of the mould. If you would like a scan, please let me know at pbpublishink@optusnet.com.au. Cheers, Pamela.
Hi
I have a S80, # 431.
I am trying to work out what the little steel “stay” in front of the mast below deck is for.
Could you please tell me or direct me to some other site.
I love my S80 , Tulip, sailed/raced out of Drummoyne Sailing Club
I also believe you know a mate of mine John Giddens who drinks at the DSC
Kind regards
